Ceramic Tile Marking Process From Start to Finish- A beautiful design option!
Hello there and thank you for visiting our webpage that details the ceramic tile art marking process we use to create exquisite displays for our customers!
The ceramic tile marking process can be achieved through several methods (e.g., Norton white tile method), but below we will describe the laser marking process we utilize at Nyikey Laserations LLC to achieve superb and repeatable results with our lasers.

Our Process:
Step #1: Procure the blank tiles and then begin by using isopropyl alcohol to ensure each tile is clean and free of any foreign materials before proceeding to step #2.
Step #2: After cleaning the blank tiles, we apply a specially designed "marking spray" that is made specifically for laser marking. The marking spray is evenly coated on the tiles, and we allow the tiles to dry for at least 1 hour.
Step #3: While the tiles with the marking spray continue to dry, we design the laser program and ensure the proper alignment of the equipment, especially the laser. This ensures that the designs are centered on the tile displays.
Step #4: After creating the design and verifying the equipment and laser alignments, we load the "marked" tiles into the laser's working area and start the laser marking process. The actual laser marking of the tiles takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours per tile.
Step #5: Once the tile is marked and the laser program has completed, we rinse the tiles clean to reveal only the design we properly marked on the tiles. Next, we carefully sand the tiles down to the proper size to fit perfectly in our hand-stained frames, creating an elegant display for any decor!
